FLAT FEES = CERTAINTY

Marina R. Taylor carefully explains to each client at their initial consultation meeting exactly how much will be billed at each stage of their legal case, regardless of the actual time spent on the client’s family law matter. And, since each case is different and complexities can lead to mid-stream changes, Marina always keeps her clients informed about how those changes can affect her fees.

Resolving even the most contentious Family Law disputes is the focus of Marina’s technique of “Artful Negotiation” to reduce confrontation and develop an atmosphere conducive to logical arguments. Marina is particularly skilled in establishing mutual benefits, producing successful settlements, protecting her client’s interests, pursuing client goals, explaining and recommending the best legal options, executing an effective plan of action, and leveraging her strong courtroom skills to achieve fair either out-of-court settlements or satisfactory court rulings.

Uncontested Divorce Actions — $2,000-3,000

Contested Divorce Actions via Mediation — $3,500-$5,000

All fees quoted to a client cover all communications between Marina and the client whether it is by text, email or phone calls. There is NO hourly monthly billing and there are NO unknown costs.

Also note that all fees are billed in phases according to the services needed. For example, in a contested case, if the mediation process exceeds a half-day to achieve a total settlement of all issues in a case, fees may increase.

In cases where all issues are not settled during mediation, additional fees would be charged to prepare for and argue at a final court hearing that would lead to a final determination of the remaining legal issues.
